- This weekend I noticed a number of volunteers who arrived early and were totally prepared to serve others! We are so blessed to have such a great group of people who are involved.
- My voice is just about shot. Denise says it is allergies.
- Loved teaching the parable of the sower in Matt 13.
- The key thought was short and sweet – it is our responsibility to toil the soil!
- The farmer spends more time on preparing the soil than he does spreading the seed.
- The harvest is the responsibility of the Lord.
- When the seed doesn’t produce a harvest the farmer doesn’t sell the farm, he goes back to working the soil.
- Evangelism is a process
- the best spade I know of is right here!
- I received an email this afternoon from a couple who has been bringing their neighbor to church. After church today the neighbor received Christ!! Thank the Lord!! They invested, they invited and the Lord gave the harvest!
- Seth took the message to heart – he came home and asked the neighbor if they knew Jesus!
- So glad that our parking lot is paved!!
- Already VERY EXCITED about next weekend. I have been working for several weeks on the next few weeks messages.
- We are not advertising or promoting what we are doing for the next 3 weeks – you will just have to come and see what we are doing.
- The next few weeks are really going to require my boldness!!!!

- Went to bed late, got up early and somewhere in between the weekend flew by!
- Met some new families and had a few returning guests – always love that.

- Our church was so kind and hospitable to our guests. Thanks to our entire church for being so friendly!

- Had many new families at the Expo!

- Our church is blessed with some amazing lay leaders.
- Bruce Scott, Dan Willis and the entire team did a phenomenal job pointing us to God this weekend!
- Rumor has it that the parking lot is going to get paved this week – that sure would be nice.

- Really sweet time of Parent/Child dedication. I think we had 8 or 9 families participate.
- Had a good attendance this weekend, especially considering it was Daytona 500 and Valentine’s Day.
- Had a real good number of people sign up for Discovery Pointe next weekend.
- REALLY looking forward to STAMPED, Feb. 27,28.
- The Missions Expo on the evening of Feb 28 is going to be awesome!
- We gave away a bunch of free tickets for the expo!
- Our parking lot can’t get finished soon enough. Looks like at least a couple more weeks.
- I have a couple friends in town and we are enjoying catching up.
- Seth is really looking forward to having off Presidant’s Day!
- I absolutely love pastoring Parkview. It is the most challenging and exciting thing all at the same time!

- So thankful for all that God is doing at Parkview.
- Closing with the John 8 principle was powerful with many stones being brought to the altar and layed down.
- Heard a couple of great stories about the timeliness of God’s Word in people’s lives this weekend.

- It was great to have Mark and Renee Gage as our special guests this weekend. Really hope some of our people will take a short term missions trip with Mark.

- I slept horrible last night and it was awesome!
- Yes, you read the above line correctly.
- Here is what happened – it seemed as if every time I rolled over I was awakened but the goodness of God on my life and on our church. My pulse would quicken, my soul would fill with joy, I would praise him, fall back to sleep and then repeat the cycle again soon. Never had the experience to that extreme!
- This weekend was a weekend of life change for SO MANY!
- Baptism was incredible in all 3 services!!!
- We talked about pain, and Denise and I shared some of our pain. Amidst that tough talk was such a sweet spirit.
- SO MANY people in our church want to work through their pain and get healthy.
- Lean into it, learn from it and never be the same again. Embrace it, deal with it and move on!!!

- I am not an expert in anything but I do feel like I have a Phd. in pain.
- MASSIVE attendance – had to bring out chairs for the 11 am service!
- Many people have stepped out by faith and begun to practice grace giving!!

- What God is doing at Parkview is blowing me away.

- This weekend we closed our series, Ritual, by talking about the ritual of Baptism.
- We had 20 people sign up to be baptized next weekend!
- Come ready to CELEBRATE next weekend!!
- So exciting to see people taking steps towards Life Change!!
- Last night we had a very successful Group Link, we launched 2 new Life Groups and added people to 3 other groups already in existence.
- I haven’t said much about our attendance numbers recently, but this weekend we had 787 – church, let’s celebrate what God is doing!!
- Sat night attendance is up – Sun at 9:30 was very full and 11am was packed!!
- PLEASE attend Sat night @ 6 if you can!!! Let’s make room for our guests!!
- Parking was insane!
- Our parking lot is scheduled to be finished in less than one month!!!
- Last week I preached on the Ritual of grace giving and this week we had one of the largest offerings in recent months - over $16,500, plus a little more than $1,000 for Haiti. Once again, I don’t normally post offering totals but I think we need to celebrate the different ways in which God is blessing.
- For all of you who are stepping out in faith in the area of giving – I KNOW God is going to bless!!!!

- We collected a pickup truck and SUV load for Haiti. I have never seen so many breakfast bars and crackers. Way to go Parkview!
- Next weekend we will be taking up an offering for Haiti recovery. We continue to assess the opportunities and search for where we can be most strategic. Most importantly, be sure that you PRAY!

- Loving the new series, Ritual. We unpacked communion this weekend and had a great time as a congregation!
- So sweet to look back and look ahead.
- So challenging to look within!
- Communion is a common union, hence the reason it comes from the greek word koinonia, which in other places is interpreted fellowship.
- Jesus became our Passover Lamb!
- Passover to the Isrealites is similar to what 4th of July is to us; both are a celebration of a nation’s independence.
- Celebrating communion today was awesome!
- We have an incredible church family who love to offer their all in worship.
- Felt really bad for those who thought it was too cold for church this weekend.
- It was cold outside but hot in the church!
- I am very grateful for all those who make God’s house a priority. God’s Word says, “this do ye in remembrance of me”, because you were there, “this DID ye”!
- Excited about our Good News Club at Rymfire Elementary this semester.
- We had a very good response of people who want to volunteer at the club – Thanks to all who joined the team!
- This is going to be an incredible season for Parkview.
- We had one doggy downer for the day – two cars were broken into in the parking lot. I say that to encourage you to hide valuables. Both cars had purses on the front seats. Thankfully the purses were later recovered, minus credit cards and cash, but they did get back keys, etc..
- Volunteer appreciation night on Thursday is going to be phenomenal!!
- I can’t wait to honor our volunteers!!

- In so many ways, our church family is enjoying the Christmas season.
- Band and choir led us in great worship!
- Last night was choir light and today it was choir packed. I guess tis the season.
- A great team was still working on setting up our nativity when I left just before 5 pm.
- People were cleaning and sorting many of the gifts that have already been given for the wise men gift exchange
- I am so thankful for the spirit of unity in our church
- I am so thankful for the environment of grace that exists at Parkview
- Really enjoyed our Christmas luncheon with our Timothy Group, the leadership mentoring program of our church. Had some sweet testimonies shared today!
- I had a new family to our church tell me how extremely friendly they have found Parkview – way to go church.
- Because of construction we lost about 30 parking spaces this weekend – thank you so much for your flexibility!
- We will have plenty of parking next weekend and that should not be a problem again!
- If you have not given to the Christmas offering, please pray about how God would have you to participate.
- Be sure to invite a friend to the Living Nativity this week, Wed – Fri, 6-8:30pm
- Loved preaching Isaiah 9:6 this weekend!
- This is a very busy season and I cannot overstate how grateful I am to our entire church that is stepping up to team up with us to promote and preach Jesus Christ!
